About Me

 Welcome to the official website of Patricia A. Saunders, a self-published author with a voice as bold as it is heartfelt. Born and raised in Connecticut, Patricia has called the San Francisco Bay Area home for the past thirty years. Following the loss of her mother to Alzheimer’s, Patricia was inspired to make her words her legacy. She knew that if she inherited the disease, she wanted to release all the stories and emotions she had kept within, ensuring her words would live on.

Patricia’s work has been featured across prestigious literary platforms, including the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, Toronto’s Word On The Street, the Sacramento Black Book Fair, the Tucson Book Festival, the Miami International Festival of Books, and AARP’s Life@50+ Spring Convention. In 2018, she was honored to be selected as one of 100 authors nationwide to participate in the Author’s Pavilion at the Congressional Black Caucus Convention in Washington, D.C.

In addition to her books, Patricia is the creator of the blog Blessed & Curvy, where she writes monthly on today’s pressing topics. She is also a certified speaker with the Professional Woman Network, specializing in women’s issues and diversity.

By day, Patricia is a Supervisor in Silicon Valley. In her free time, she loves traveling, wine tasting, and cooking for her friends and family. Explore her world of words, and discover the stories that reflect her journey of resilience, love, and self-expression.
